Dr. June Verbillion

Dr. June Verbillion passed away peacefully at home on October 5, 2018. She was born on November 23, 1926 in Chicago, IL.  June received her EdD from Loyola University in English Literature in 1960 and was on the faculty at Northeastern Illinois University for 31 years.  She enjoyed a lifelong love of reading. She was a longtime and active member of St. Catherine of Siena – St. Lucy Church. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy M. Rupe (Martin), two nieces, Terri and Becky, and two nephews, Bernie and Brian. A memorial service will be held at St. Catherine of Siena-St. Lucy Catholic Church in Oak Park on Saturday, October 27 at 11am.
