Florence Sitarz 87 resident of Berwyn died peacefully October 19, 2017. Florence was born Sept 11, 1930 to Lazar and Victoria Christoff. She always talked about what a happy childhood she had. She was born during the depression and a teenager during WWII.  She was very involved with writing letters and sending care packages to the soldiers.  In 1952 she married John Sitarz a WWII Veteran and had two children.  Before retiring Florence worked as a secretary, book keeper, and accounting.  She enjoyed reading, bingo, and crossword puzzles but the thing she loved the most was cooking huge meals for her family.  Holidays were her favorite.  She also loved baking.  She was the type of person that people were just drawn to.  She was liked by everyone she met. She leaves behind a son Richard Sitarz and daughter Sandra Badillo three grandchildren,  Michael, Kyle, Ryan and a brother Carl Christoff. Preceded in death are her parents, sisters Eleanor Doman, Mary Jackson and so many brother and sister in laws.  A private wake will be at Heritage Funeral Home followed by a burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Eternal Light Mausoleum.
