DiCanio, Gene M.

Born September 9,1922, passed away on December 11, 2017.

Loving daughter of the late John and Anna DiCanio.  Dear Sister of Helen Kast (the late Bro) and Anita Fanter (the late Robert) and the late Lilian, Ceil, Frank and Camille.  Devoted aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Gene was an executive secretary for Perkins and Will Architects for 40 years.  She served as a Eucharistic Minister, Minister of Care, and cantor.  She was a member of the choir at St. Leonards, Berwyn, St Pius, Stickney, and Divine Providence, Westchester.

Visitation Friday, December 15th at 9:00 a.m. at Kopicki Heritage Funeral Home, 3117 South Oak Park Avenue, Berwyn.  Mass at 10:30 at St. Leonard's, Berwyn.  Internment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation- Lurie Children's Hospital.
