Bridget Sarley

Bridget Sarley, age 69 of Downers Grove passed away May 25, 2023. Born in Chicago, April 9, 1954, Survived by her spouse Ernest Sarley. Married in 1983 they celebrated 39 years of Marriage; cherished daughter of the late Thomas Zachata and the late Dorothy Zachata nee Jankowski; devoted mother of Zackary Sarley; beloved sister of the late Susan Shedor nee Bielitzki and Terry Zachata; dear aunt and great aunt of many; sister-in-law of John Shedor, Annette and John Korbus and Catherine Sarley. She attended Mary Queen of Heaven Grade School and Morton East High School Worked for Peoples Energy as a graphic artist then as a baker at Whole Foods. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed baking and cooking, was a passionate collector of antiques, but her love for animals was unstoppable.  A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
