Warren Peterson

Warren N. Peterson, 93, of LaGrange Illinois, formerly of Chicago passed away November 25, 2022 at his home where he lived with his daughter Diane and son-in-law, John. Warren was born August 4, 1929 in Chicago, son of the late Paul and Hilda (Johnson) Peterson. He married Phyllis (Dolly) Anderson on February 13 th , 1954 and she preceded him in death July 2, 2010. Warren was a veteran of the Navy during the Korean War. He was a dedicated, hard-working plumber who worked from a young apprentice on for many years before retirement. Warren was extremely analytical and could fix anything; he actually built the home where he passed away. His greatest attribute was his calm personality, his sense of humor and his gift of helping others believe in themselves. Warren was a dedicated husband and father and member of Grace Lutheran Church over 60 years.

Warren is survived by his children, Karen (Gary) Ottaviano, Bill Peterson and Diane (John) Capilupo; His grandchildren Lindsey (Dan) Morris, Ashley Ottaviano, Haley (John) Banks, Hilary Ottaviano, Tim Peterson, Steve Peterson, Joe Capilupo and Jenny Capilupo as well as his great-grandchildren Tiffany Capilupo and Johnny Banks IV; many nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends. Visitation will be December 10 th at Grace Lutheran Church 200 N. Catherine, La Grange, at 10:30am followed by a Memorial Service at 11am. The Burial will be December 12 th at 1pm at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Grace Lutheran church
