Clarence George Popernik (Clay), 74, of Lockport, Illinois, passed away on May 4th, 2019 after a battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was a college graduate from Eastern Illinois University earning a B.S. in Business Administration and owned a tavern, Florians, for 35 years. He is survived by three siblings, three children and five grandchildren. He loved being a father & grandfather above everything and cherished his children Kimberly (Wyatt), Samantha (Amber, Aubree and Adrian) and Craig (Adrianna) immensely. Clay had a passion for boating, fishing and relaxing in his recliner while watching his favorite sports teams with his dog Ziva by his side. He will forever dearly be missed.
