Mary Alice Connolley-Chavez

Mary Alice Connolley-Chavez, age 74, of Berwyn, IL., died Sunday, September 15th, 2019. Mary was born on September 12th, 1945 to Rose and Andrew Connolley.

For those who knew Mary, you'd know she was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a beautiful person who's no-nonsense attitude brought a deep level of respect and admiration to those that knew her. She loved her grandchildren fiercely with a deep connection to each of them and made it a point to ensure she dedicated her time with them every spare moment she had. Mary was a tremendous presence and will truly be missed by those that knew and loved her.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Rose Connolley, her sisters, Rose Mary Connolley, Lois Jean Connolley-Milam, Margaret Anna Connolley-Holcomb-Munoz, Georgine Starr Connolley-Palmer. Mary is survived by her brothers, Andrew Thomas Connolley, Patrick Keil Connolley, Charles Francis Connolley, Arthur James Connolley, her husband, Sal Chavez, her children, Wyona Rose Attaway, Margaret Ann Hassell, Tony Alan Attaway, and Jerry Garner Crisp, Jr., her grandchildren, Michael Curtis, Julie Anne, and Heather Marie Clark; Annie Taglia; Joseph Michael, Andrew Jacob, and Benjamin Ryan Crisp, along with her great grand children, Savannah Rose and Mason David Clark.

Her services will be held on Thursday, September 19th, at  Heritage Funeral Home from 11:00-1:00PM, 3117 S. Oak Park Avenue, Berwyn, IL. We will have a family burial at East Batavia Cemetery, 1100 N. Washington Ave., Batavia IL.
