Antonia Mayorga Alarcon

Antonia Mayorga Alacron, affectionately known as ‘Flaca’, ‘Toña’ or ‘Toni’ gained her wings on
December 20, 2024 after a long, brave battle with cancer. Antonia was born on October 8,
1980, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Angela Mayorga and Toribio Mayorga. Though her
time with us has come to an end, the impact that she made on the lives of her loved ones will
continue to be felt.
Educated in the Cicero Public School District, Antonia graduated high school in 1998. Pursuing
her goal to become a social worker, Antonia attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, where
she graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and continued her pursuit of
higher education by earning a Master’s of Social Work degree from Dominican University.
Antonia valued education and inspired her family to embrace learning.
Surviving are her beloved mother, Angela Mayorga and father,Toribio Mayorga. Cherished
sisters: Suzanna Martinez, Rosa Mayorga, Laura Mayorga, Ruby Mayorga, Selena Mayorga,
and Esmeralda Mayorga. Her much adored nieces and nephews, cousins, and godmother,
Maria Aguilar, along with a host of close relatives and friends.
The family of Antonia expresses our sincere and deep gratitude and appreciation for all of the
calls, texts and expressions of sympathy. We will never forget your kindness.
