Armando Garcia

Armando, "Big Mando", Garcia age 52, passed away on August 4th, 2026. Born July 21,1974, in Chicago, Illinois.  Armando's unending humor brought joy to everyone around him.   

Mando was a devoted father to Elexis, Alycia and AJ, a loving husband to Tanya, and a loyal friend to many.  Whether he was telling jokes, pulling pranks or being the life of the party, Mando made every moment unforgettable.   Mando spent over 20 years as a skilled Tuckpointer.  He took immense pride in his craft. Beyond his work, Armando was an avid sports fan. He loved supporting the White Sox, Bears and Notre Dame. He was a dedicated coach for the Lockport Jr Porters and was a die hard AJ Garcia fan. 

A memorial celebrating Mando's life will take place on Thursday August 6th, from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation 3117 S. Oak Park Ave, Berwyn IL. 

Funeral on Friday August 7th, 11:00a.m.at the funeral home, then proceeding to Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago for Interment.
