Desiree Monique Garza

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Desiree Monique Garza on August 1, 2025.  Desiree was born on July 6, 1990, the beloved daughter of Robert Garza and the late Alice Pico.  Cherished mother of Sergio Garza, Jeanette Rodriguez, and Isabella Garza.  Loving sister of Robert Garza Jr., Marie (Jeremy) Converse, and the late Jesus Salvador Pico Garza.  Dearest Aunt of Robert Garza III, Alice, Jeremy, Antonio and Desiree Garza, Mia Hope Arroyo, Jesus Salvador Pico Garza Jr., and Isaac Moses Garza.  Dearest niece of Maria Pico, Jesse Pico, Desiree Estrada, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Desiree was the sweetest, gentlest soul you could ever meet, her beautiful smile and laughter would light a whole room when she walked in. She was very joyful and playful with her family, she loved to make sure those around her always felt safe, loved and comfortable in her presence. She will truly be missed by all those who loved her. May she find peace that she so deserved.

Visitation on Friday August 8, 2025 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home 3117 S. Oak Park Avenue in Berwyn.  Funeral Services on Saturday August 9th beginning at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. then proceeding to Mary Queen of Heaven Church in Cicero for Mass of Christian Burial. (time pending)  Interment, Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
