Elida Rita Gracial Velazquez Rodriguez

Rita passed away in hospice care, surrounded by her children, Saint, Manuel Jr, Jimmy, Michael, Adrian, and Helina, at the age of 73, on July 26, 2025.

Rita was predeceased by her husband Manuel, and is also survived by members of her family, Grandchildren Idalia, Marilyn, Saint Elias, Mila, Senn, Lucas, Brenton, and Emilio; Son-in law Fernando, daughters-in-law Jane, Gabriela and Bianca; her siblings, Ralph, Jesse, Lalo, Noemi, Mary, and Leticia;  Brother and sister-in-laws, Lou, Carmen, Kathy, Philip, Polo, Gabino, Rachel, Maria, and Steve.

Family and friends to meet at St. Leonard Church, 3318 Clarence Avenue, Berwyn IL on Thursday, July 31st, at 9:30 a.m., then celebrate Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will be private.
