Eric Wachewicz age 49, at rest August 19, 2024.  Visitation on Sunday August 25 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation, 3117 S. Oak Park Avenue, Berwyn.  Funeral service 9:00 a.m. at the chapel, then proceeding to St. Leonard Catholic Church 3118 Clarence Avenue, Berwyn for 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.  Interment, Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside, IL. 

We little knew that morning

God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly,

In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

You did not go alone,

For part of us went with you,

The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories,

Your love is still our guide,

And though we cannot see you,

You are always by our side.

Our family chain is broken,

And nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one,

The chain will link again.
