Franklin D.R Spriggs

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Franklin “Buddy” Spriggs.
Buddy passed away peacefully in his home on February 26, 2022. 
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary, loving father of Debra, Terry (Lisa)
and Franklin (Lillian), devoted grandfather (Papaw) of Heather (Joe) Lush, Ashley
(Rubin) Alvarez, Daniel (Josette), Samantha, Brandy, Nico and Olivia and dear
great-grandfather to Sophia and Damian.
A loving brother to Jeanette “Sue” (Willy) Shepherd, he was preceded in death by
his parents, Roosevelt and Grace and brothers, Clifford, Herbert, Henry, Johnny
and sisters Joyce, Melba, Sylvia, Rebecca, Leaetta, Sarah & Billie Rose.
Buddy was known and loved in the neighborhood for all that he did for others,
especially the senior citizens and widows. He was always ready to help by cutting
grass, cleaning windows and his favorite, shoveling snow. He was a one in a
million, loving, funny, ornery father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
He will be truly missed by all that knew him.
