Jesus Salvador Pico Garza

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Jesus Pico Garza on July 26, 2025.  Born on January 28th, 1992 in Chicago - known as Chava to his family and friends - he was the youngest of 4 children. 

Beloved son of Robert Garza and the late Alice Pico.  Loving brother of Robert Garza Jr., Marie Converse and Desiree Garza.  Cherished father of Mia Hope Arroyo, Jesus Salvador Pico Garza Jr. and Isaac Moses Garza.  Dearest Nephew of Maria Pico, Desiree Estrada, Jesse Pico, Adolfo Saucedo and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Chava was such a light to those around him. Though he faced many hardships and challenges he was always kind and loving. I think what most of us will remember him by was his contagious laugh that could fill a room. He was always joking and laughing spreading joy to others. He will truly be missed. May he now find the peace and rest he so deeply deserves. 

Visitation on Friday August 1, 2025 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home 3117 S. Oak Park Avenue in Berwyn.  Funeral Services on Saturday August 2nd beginning at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. then proceeding to Mary Queen of Heaven Church in Cicero for 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.   Interment following the Mass will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
