Luis Davila

Luis Davila, age 75, passed away December 12, 2024.  Beloved husband of Candelaria for a loving 52 years.  Loving father of 6 children, Sylvia (Rafael), Sandra, Mayra (Julian), Maribel (Jose), Luis II, and Cecilia (Jaime).  Affectionate grandfather of 22 grandchildren, Cecilia, Mayra, Salvador, Reyna, Alexandra, Christian, Alyzea, Carolina, Cassandra, Ricardo, Gloria, Luis III, Kimberly, Lizandra, Ariana, Yennifer, Julissa, Juliana, Sandra, Claudia, Jose, and Luna.  Caring great grandfather of Martin, Lydia, and Mateo.  Luis will be deeply missed, and he always held a special place in everyone's heart.  He will never be forgotten.   

First and foremost our family and I would like to say thank you to everyone reaching out about our dad. The amount of love and support we are receiving truly shows how many people had the great honor of knowing the man that built our family. When I must leave you for a little while -- please do not grieve and shed wild tears and hug your sorrow to you through the years, But start out bravely with a gallant smile: And for my sake and in my name live on and do all things the same, Feed not your loneliness on empty days, But fill each waking hour in useful ways, Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer and I in turn will  comfort you and hold you near; And never, never be afraid to die, For I am waiting for you in the sky.

No lloren por mí, porque ahora soy libre. Siguiendo el sendero Dios fundó por mi voy.  Tome Su mano cuando oí Su llamado, Di la espalda y todo lo he renunciado.  Si mi partida deja un vacío,  lénalo con recuerdos de gozo y agrado. La amistad compartida, una risa, los besos, Si, estas cosas también yo echo de menos. No se afanan con tiempos de sufrimiento, Les deseo la luz del sol de mañana en cada momento. Mi vida fue completa saboreando en abundancias, buenos amigos, buenos tiempos, y del amor sus caricias.
