Maria C. Garcia, at rest July 15, 2025.  Beloved wife of Carlos Garcia Sr.  Cherished Mother of Maria (Abel) Mendoza, Carlos (Angela) Garcia Jr. and David (Rosa) Garcia. Adored Grandmother of Christine Ramirez, Erik Mendoza and Karma Garcia.  Dearest Great Grandmother of Alexander Ramirez.  Loving Sister of Josephina (Miguel) Rios, and Dear Aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Visitation on Tuesday July 22nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation, 3117 S. Oak Park Avenue, Berwyn, IL.  Service at 12:00 noon.  Interment following service at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside, IL.  

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered “Come to Me.”  With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away.  Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.  A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.  God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

Dios vio que él estaba cansado y una cura no era posible. Así, que lo arropo con sus brazos y murmuró a su oído "Ven Conmigo."  Con nuestros corazones llorosos lo vimos ir desapareciendo. Y aunque lo amábamos demasiado, fue imposible no dejarle ir.  Un corazón de oro dejó de latir, unas manos trabajadoras a descansar.  Dios rompió nuestros corazones para demostrarnos que el solo se lleva lo mejor.
