Marjory "Marge" A. Nigro
Born February 17, 1951 to Betty and Frank Nigro
Died December 31, 2020 at the age of 69
Marge grew up in Burbank, IL and attended Reavis High School where she graduated in 1969. She was one of eight children. Marge spent over 30 years proudly serving and advocating for Veterans at Hines VA Hospital before her retirement.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents and brother and beloved sister Betty Jean. She is survived by Grace (Ken) Zad and four siblings, daughter Jaime and son in law (Steve) Cleek, son Kenny Nigro, and grandchildren LCpl Dominick Nigro, Cole Cleek, Shyanne Cleek, and Elliot Cleek. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. A close second to her grandkids, she also loved being an Aunt/Great Aunt and held great affection for Lisa (Brad) Adkins, the little Rudmans, and Ashley Malito. She was a mother to many throughout her life and if you wanted real talk, she was your go-to. Marge was as tough as they come on the outside but once you were in, she overflowed with generosity and love. You knew that no matter what, she had your back. Based on her wishes, there will be no service. However, Marge loved eagles and the Brookfield Zoo. If you would like to honor her memory, please consider adopting an animal or making a donation to the Brookfield Zoo.
