Nepo B. Redovan

Nepo Redovan was born May 5, 1932 in Burgos, Pangasinan (Philippines), and passed away on January 18, 2024 in Berwyn.  Beloved husband of 54 years to Asuncion.  Loving father to William (Isabelita), Teresita, Milagros, Roberto (Beyang), Arnold (Riza), Bernan (Monica), Paula (Jim), Jonathan, and Camia (Dean).  Cherished grandfather to Jinno, Angelica, Erin, Elijah, Benny, Bella, Lexi, and Billy.  Fond brother of Teofilo and Rosenda. After being petitioned by his sister to come to America, Nepo brought his family to Berwyn, Illinois where he would raise his children with his wife, Asuncion.  He worked as a television technician before retiring.  Nepo loved watching boxing matches, especially his favorite boxer, Manny Pacquiao.  At family gatherings, you would always see him playing his favorite card game Tong-its.  Nepo made sure to always have a one dollar bill ready to hand to each of the grandkids when they would come over for a visit. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 3pm until 8pm at Heritage Funeral Home, 3117 S. Oak Park Avenue, Berwyn and Tuesday, January 23, 2024 visitation at Heritage Funeral Home from 9a to 10a with Mass beginning at 10:30a at St. Mary of Celle Catholic Church, 1428 Wesley Avenue, Berwyn, followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, 7750 W. Cermak Road, Forest Park.
