Patricia J Garnica

Patricia Joanne Garnica (née Browder), age 67, passed away on April 3, 2026. She was born on November 13, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late John Browder and Helen Browder (née Armes).  Patricia was known for her kind heart, her blunt honesty, and her love for family.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Porfirio Sanchez; her brother, Jerry Browder (Kathy); her children, John Garnica, Carmen Sanchez (Miguel), Maria Sanchez, Ivan Sanchez (Lisa), Jessica Sanchez, and Marissa Sanchez; her grandchildren, Xavier, Veronica, Jovanni, Adrian, Annabelle, Sylas, Nailah, Francesca, Javier, Janessa, Lorenzo, and Santana; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Browder and Helen Browder (née Armes); her sister, Eleanor “Bumpy” Carollo (née Browder); and her brothers, Roth “Buck” Browder, Gary Browder and her granddaughter, Jazlene Sanchez. 

Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, 3117 S. Oak Park Ave, Berwyn, IL 60402, Sunday April 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Chapel Service on Monday April 13, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, then proceeding to Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery for burial.  

Patricia will forever be in our hearts.
