Pearlie Mae Vires Ward

Pearlie Mae Vires, of Berwyn, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 71 years old.   Pearlie was a woman whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She devoted her life to caring for her family and creating lasting memories with those she loved most. Her warm spirit, comforting presence, and generous heart will be deeply missed and forever remembered.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Ward; her parents, Harvey and Elizabeth Vires; her brothers, A.C., Sam, Elbert, and Lloyd; and her sister, Julie Duffy.  

Pearlie leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory always: her children, Elizabeth (Jose) Aguayo, Charles (Laura) Yonts, Mary (Tom) Muston, and Katie (Jared) Kimbrough; her grandchildren, Sarah (Jeff) Willig, Mandy (Jake) Ryan, William (Talia) Banks, Eddie Yonts, Helena (Aiden) Yonts, Dominic Yonts, Steven (Erika) Muston, Julie (Joe) Perry, Tyger (Caleb) Williams, Jayden Watts, and Joey Ergle; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Sam, Bash, Laden, Logan, Annor, Alduin, Braiden, Joslyn, Julia, Annakin, Mahalah, Isaac, Gunner, Addison, Julian, Bryant, Julianna, Marquis, Jaxson, and Kamron. She is also survived by her brother, Cletus Vires, along with a host of extended family members and dear friends.

A visitation to honor and celebrate Pearlie’s life will be held on May 21, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at  Heritage Funeral Home, 3117 S. Oak Park Avenue in Berwyn.
