Richard Wayne Saunders peacefully left us on April 23, 2023.
Richard "Ricky" was well known for his strong work ethic and devout dedication to his family. Ricky came from a very large family and was a well loved Son, Father, Step-father, Brother, Uncle and God Father. He was an amazing "Papa" to his 14 grandchildren and deeply loved his 4 great-grand children. He is preceeded in death by his late wife and his first wife. Both of whom he cared for in each of their last days. A true testimony of his compassion, love and dedication to family.
An avid Bears and Cubs fan his heart was always in Chicago no matter where he lived. Rick was was an expert pool player who passed his love for the game on to his children and grandchildren. Richard will be deeply missed by his friends with whom he shared over 50 years of memories. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, hard work and many many laughs.
