Roxana Garcia

Roxana Garcia 64, of Cicero, IL formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on Nov 12, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Roxana was born on the 19th day of December, 1958 in Del Rio, Texas.
Devoted wife of Samuel Garcia. Loving mother of Melinda (Jaime) Rodriguez, Trinidad (Cynthia) Perez, Alex (Nelly) Perez, Paul (Maribel) Garcia, and the late Jesus Perez; fond grandmother of Jaime Rodriguez, Ashley Rodriguez, Nayelee M Garcia, Brianna Huerta, Nathan P Garcia, Juan Rodriguez, Melissa Rodriguez, and Margaret Victoria Perez; loving sister of the late Cesar Berrones, the late Raul A. Berrones, Luisa M. Berrones, Alma R. Berrones fond aunt of many Nieces and Nephews; Loving cousin and friend of many Roxana is preceded in death by her beloved parents Raul and Epifania Berrones. Roxana enjoyed working as a Florist for 15 plus years. Roxana also worked at Pars Ice Cream as a manager and worked for Jackson Hewitt doing taxes for 6 years. Roxana really enjoyed knitting, and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed telling her daughter in-laws to shut up. Family was most important to her. Roxana lived for her kids and grand-children. Roxana loved Sunday breakfasts with the family & barbecues. She enjoyed outings with her friends, listening to music especially 80’s and Motown. She liked going for cruises. She enjoyed “chismosa” time with her grand-daughter Nayelee. She hoped and prayed to see her baby girl Victoria grow up. One of Roxana’s favorite saying is “there isn’t that much lovin in this world”  Roxana is so loved and will be forever missed by everyone.
