Steven John Stirn

Let us pray for dearly beloved Steven John Stirn who passed away on June 14, 2024 in LaGrange Illinois.  Remember his laughter, wit, and smile, and his outstanding athletic ability at Downers Grove North High School in basketball, baseball and football.  His wife Maria Harlander Stirn and daughter Margaret Stirn will forever remember his dedication and love as a husband and father. 

He will be cherished by many family members and friends.  Steven was preceded in death by his sister Margaret (Margi) as well as his mother Agnes Stirn (Tures) and his brother Donald (Donny).  Survived by his father Donald F. Stirn (Dayle).  Beloved brother of Matthew (Ann Marie), Mary Ellen (Steve), and Paul.  Brother in Law of John Becerril (Nydia), Robert Becerril (Jamie), and the late Rebecca (Ahkondi). Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Treasured friend to many and to all who knew and loved him.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.  For thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the Glory forever and ever, Amen.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end, Amen.

Family, friends and loved ones will gather for a Christian funeral Mass on Saturday July 13, 2024 -10:00 a.m.
