Ventura S Alonzo

Born July 14,1929 into Eternal Life July 26, 2025 “I always wanted to be a bird so I could fly”...God has given her wings! Our mother left us for her heavenly abode on Saturday 07/26/2025, at the age of 96 years. She was peaceful at home surrounded by family. Mother lived a very productive and fruitful life, that was full of family and friends. She enjoyed gardening so much that she built her own little paradise on earth; focused on prayer, fond of the color yellow and quietly singing in private. She was born in Mexticacan, Jalisco, Mexico to Josefa Cuevas and Exiquio Sandoval. She was preceded in death by Emilio Alonzo, her loving husband, Maria de los Angeles Serna Alonzo and Luz Maria Corona Alonzo, her beloved daughters. She is survived by four generations of family.  Her loving children, Aurelia Sandoval, Victoria Estrada, Roberto Alonso, Adela Lopez, Alicia Cornejo, Guadalupe Alonzo, Arturo Alonzo, and Christina Alonzo.  A bounty of grand, great-great grand-children and extended friends. She will be missed dearly by all. A Mass of Catholic burial will be on Monday 7/28/2025, at St Leonard’s Catholic Church, Berwyn, Illinois, at 11 AM
