With profound sorrow and deep love, we announce the passing of Victor Santiago Jr., a cherished son, devoted father, beloved grandfather, loyal brother, treasured uncle, and faithful friend. Victor entered eternal rest on April 21, 2025, surrounded by the love he gave so freely in life.

Victor was the beloved son of Victor Santiago Sr. and the late Herminia Chavez. A proud and loving father, he leaves behind his children: Victor Santiago III, Valerie Santiago, Nicholas Santiago, and Shanon Santiago Melton, who will carry on his legacy of strength, humor, and unwavering love.

He was a devoted grandfather to:   Sophia Grace Melton, Aliyah Santiago, Nick Santiago, Fernando Santiago, Damien Santiago, Victoria Antúnez, Scarlet Antúnez, Xavier Antúnez, Cain Antúnez, Victor Santiago IV, and Christian Santiago — each one blessed to be wrapped in his love, his laughter, and his cooking.

Victor’s presence lives on in his siblings: Rudy Chavez, Norma Aguilar, Richard Chavez, Sylvia Santiago, Jeanette Santiago Cardenas, Ronald Santiago, and Eddie Santiago, and in the many nieces and nephews he helped raise and loved as his own. As an uncle, he was a guiding light — part mentor, part protector, and always a source of laughter and love.

Victor was a man of heart and humor — a true light to his family. He loved to cook, not just to feed others, but to bring joy and comfort. He was known for his quick wit, thoughtful nature, and the way he could make you laugh even on your hardest day. His smile was a source of warmth, and his absence leaves a silence that echoes deeply in the hearts of all who knew him.
