Thank you Kathy for your sweet words about my brother Tom. I am sorry for your loss and grieve with you as well at his home going.
He was the baby of the family and he towered over my sister and myself in stature and in his kindnesses. I love & miss him greatly.
Have many memories growing up, one in which as a teen he made a sandwich of 2 slices of white bread with mayo and added a slice of pound cake. I think at the time, no lunchmeat in the house. So he made a pound cake sandwich. Made us laugh and not take ourselves so seriously.
Will miss times like this. Love & Prayers - His sister, Chris

IN MEMORY OF THOMAS MAZUR

Over the past days, I've listened to comments from many individuals from Bank tellers to service station owners. Their words reflect Sweet.Kind.Funny. Protective. Sad. In Love. A splendid bugger.

Frankly I'm at a complete loss for words. However I thought these words by another splendid bugger would reflect more how I feel..

Funeral Blues by W.H. Auden

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message 'He is Dead'.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.
